Run A Body Transformation Contest

Posted by Admin on December 12, 2011 under Bootcamp Domination, Business, Internet Marketing, Marketing, Social Media Marketing | Be the First to Comment

Run a transformation contest with your members/bootcampers and this happens:

  • Builds excitement
  • Gives members focused goals
  • The focus gets them to learn more about their body and responses to diet, training, and supplementation
  • More feedback and data for you to crunch (testing and tracking – a good thing)
  • Gives you content with social proof (before and after pics and videos, etc.)
  • They need to follow YOUR guidance – diet, training, AND nutritional suppementation
  • Builds your complementary income stream of offering nutritional supplements
  • Everyone who enters must follow YOUR complete program which includes nutritional supplementation

Over 1K In Recurring Income? Yep.

So my “Deal Site” offer back in May came to a close last month (vouchers for the bootcamp classes expired).

And the results:

7 new members and over $1,000 in monthly recurring billing.

[Note: From July through October, we've also had people sign up for 1 month, but I'm only counting the recurring members we've brought on board.]

Plus, I boosted my double opt-in list by almost 400 new subscribers.

That’s not including supplement sales – an additional profit center for our fitness businesses. We always lead in with our 24 Day LEANout program.

Getting your offer on a Deal Site (Groupon, LivingSocial, etc) is a great way to build up your email list and expose your BRAND to a lot of people. Forget about closing them right away. Provide the experience and know that you are building your reach, your contact list – which is a HUGE asset.

[I'll be breaking down the process AND what I'm going to do different next time we run another deal offer inside our PersonalTrainerToolbox.com member site. Think: Full Automation.]

Having the ability to send out a message to hundreds and even thousands from the comfort of your laptop at *any* moment is priceless.

On that note, here’s a free report for you. Aweber Marketing Tips. Aweber is the company I use for my email list management. It’s powerful and I trust housing my thousands of subscribers with it.

Leaving Clues Behind

Posted by Admin on August 17, 2011 under Internet Marketing, Marketing, Social Media Marketing | Be the First to Comment

Videos are a great way to “leave clues behind.” As the saying goes, “Success leaves clues.”

When people see videos and pictures, it’s giving them a certain perception based on what they see. When they see people working out and accomplishing tasks with determination and confidence, it’ll excite their mind to the point of taking action.

Now I’ve always talked about creating videos and building content equity. Create it once and it keeps on “working” for you. It can sell for you, promote you, build social proof, inform, and even entertain… it just never stops working.

Below is quick video I made using Animoto, which I now highly recommend (after a friend created some cool and simple videos – fast).

To create these type of videos, all you need to do is choose a premade theme, add your pics, add video clips as well, choose from their 1000s of licensed songs (or add your own), then click finalize. It’s that easy.

P.S. If you’re reading this post on its own, you’ll see a social media bar on the left. It has the usual Twitter and Facebook, but it also has Google+. It’s the new kid on the social media block and I think it’s going to be HUGE. It’s a great way to mark the clues you’ll leave behind.

Watch As I Grow My Facebook Page Right Before Your Eyes

Posted by Admin on April 27, 2011 under Internet Marketing, Marketing | 2 Comments to Read

We all know social media is important and must be
part of your marketing strategy. That’s a given.

Well, I did a little experiment a couple of weeks ago
and grew one of my Facebook pages (Sub10Workouts)
from 276 “likes” to currently over 800… in about 9 days.

And now I’m going to do it again – right before your eyes.

I’m going to grow my Facebook page

==> http://www.facebook.com/crossfitbirmingham

from its current 270 “likes” to well, at least 2.5X that
amount (and no, I’m not going to ask all of my subscribers
to like the page to get there – but you can if you wish to see
what’s going on at my gym).

==> http://www.facebook.com/crossfitbirmingham

Go there now to verify the current number. If you happen
to read this email late, that number could be higher.

So, this is an experiment that you can literally watch from
the sidelines to see what happens.

I’m going to show PTT Members the exact strategy to pull
this off.

For now, I want everyone to watch and see this “live” experiment.

[Update: "Likes" are now at 811]

Magic Beans?

Posted by Admin on April 26, 2011 under Internet Marketing, Marketing, Productivity | Be the First to Comment

Everyone is selling some special “magic beans” to
make all your business problems go away these
days …

Repeat after me: “there are no magic beans.”

At the end of the day, there is:

- your understanding of buying psychology

- your ability to manage your business efficiently

- your junk-yard-dog toughness for when the going
gets rough (because it will!)

The absolute best stuff I’ve ever read about
buying psychology is a little book by Joe Sugarman
called “Triggers.”

For a few days, Joe is giving away a free copy of
an interview series he did where he breaks down
each and every one of these 29 “triggers” so
they’re super-easy to understand and apply to
your own business:

You should definitely go snag a copy of these and
put it on your iPod (or whatever you use to listen
to audio).

This is kind of must-have stuff for your library
and the series will normally run you over 200
bucks.

Do this now before you forget.
